Electrical Maintenance & Repairs Sales Rep/Account Manager
Red Appointments is working with a well‑established national electrical company to fill the role of Sales Representative and Account Manager. This role is ideal for a maintenance and services electrician who is now working 'off the tools' and has gained some sales and account management experience within the electrical space.
Responsibilities
* Liaise and negotiate with existing and new clients (commercial, retail, shopping centres, data centres) for the provision of electrical services relating to maintenance, repairs, modifications, replacements and upgrades.
* Identify and follow up on potential additional new business opportunities from existing maintenance and services contracts.
* Quote work identified.
* Serve as the key point of contact for clients, managing proposals to ultimately close sales and ensure successful delivery of works.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in electrical services applications to provide repair, modification, and/or replacement recommendations, including estimated cost.
* Previous experience in cold calling, objection handling, winning and maintaining new clients is highly advantageous.
* Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Computer skills (including MS Word and MS Excel).
* Ability to work autonomously within guidelines, plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage own time effectively.
* Current driver's licence and own transport.
