An excellent opportunity for an Payroll Officer has become available with a privately owned automotive dealership group with over 2,100 employees in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. 
This role offers flexible working hours and flexible work arrangements, work from Home / Moorabbin Office. 
Experience with dealerships and UniPay system is highly regarded, however our client will consider general payroll experience. 
The Responsibilities 
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, you will manage the delivery of cyclical pay runs across a selection of businesses and more specifically: 
- Managing the end-to-end Payroll processing; 
- Overseeing all day-to-day operational activities for a select group of Payrolls, focusing first and foremost on the smooth and efficient delivery of various pay runs (weekly or fortnightly), along with cyclical transactional payroll processes such as commission payments; 
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, Awards, and Certified Agreements ensuring processes are performed in line with company policies and legislative requirements. 
- You’ll have functional experience in payroll delivery where a variety of industrial instruments underpin the employee base; 
- There is significant experience already within the team and therefore, you may have some experience with payroll but a willingness to learn and become an experienced payroll professional; 
- Strong Excel skills are a must, with hands-on experience using our payroll system, UniPay, being an advantage.
