About Our Client

Our client is a global, project driven organisation with a polished and modern corporate headquarters in Brisbane. Their office is high foot traffic, professional and fast paced, with senior executives, clients, graduates and international visitors coming through daily. They take pride in maintaining a sophisticated front of house experience and are looking for someone people focused to be in a highly appreciated front office coordination role.

Job Description

This is not a traditional receptionist role. While you will manage the main switchboard which has around 30 calls a day shared between the team, the job is very active, hands‐on and central to the smooth running of the entire office. You will be on your feet throughout the day, assisting multiple stakeholders and ensuring the corporate environment operates seamlessly. The role is best suited to someone who loves being active, enjoys problem solving and naturally steps in to help wherever needed.In this role, you will:

* Serve as the welcoming face of the business, supporting a constant flow of visitors and staff
* Move around the office assisting with meeting room setups, catering, events, troubleshooting and general office upkeep
* Support senior executives and act as a go‐to problem solver for both internal staff and external guests
* Manage front‐of‐house operations including sign‐ins, couriers, mail and corporate presentation
* Assist with onboarding new starters and preparing their welcome kits
* Coordinate PPE and uniforms, which is a high‐volume, business‐critical task
* Provide administrative and organisational support to a range of stakeholders across the office

You will be polished, personable and confident, with the emotional intelligence to engage with senior executives one moment and warmly welcome a graduate or visiting candidate the next. You will enjoy being on your feet, moving around the office, solving problems on the fly and staying five steps ahead of what the day requires. You understand the importance of presentation, tone and professionalism in a corporate headquarters and you represent this with maturity and genuine warmth. The right person will also have the curiosity and drive to learn the business, take ownership of their space and build strong relationships across all levels. Once you're established, you'll be able to mentor a junior team member and contribute to the smooth running of the wider office.To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate:
