Surveillance Officer - Civil and Light Rail Projects

The Opportunity

Responsibilities
* Provide onsite verification of works, contractors' QA systems, and all other onsite activities for designated projects.
* Maintain detailed site records, including photographic and written documentation, to verify work completion and quality.
* Offer real-time feedback on construction issues to the project team and stakeholders.
* Support Project Engineers, Managers, and Directors to ensure effective project delivery while taking responsibility for day-to-day surveillance of assigned project elements.
About you
* Proven experience in technical surveillance or quality assurance within engineering or construction, with a strong track record of managing and verifying onsite activities.
* Demonstrated experience working on Civil Construction projects with light rail experience desirable. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is desirable but not essential,
* Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and construction documentation.
* Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team.
