About the Role
In this high-impact position, you'll lead and mentor a national team of Commercial Leaders to develop strategic plans, manage risks, and negotiate contracts. You'll work closely with legal, project, and executive teams to drive commercial success and achieve project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for major project bids and delivery
* Provide expert guidance on pricing models, risk mitigation, and contract negotiations
* Collaborate with legal and project teams to shape and negotiate client, partner, and subcontractor agreements
* Champion commercial governance, compliance, and best practices across the business
* Build strong relationships with senior leaders, clients, and delivery partners
* Coach and develop commercial capability across the organisation
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a commercial expert with:
* Proven experience leading commercial negotiations on large infrastructure projects
* Deep understanding of public sector procurement and contracting models in transport, urban infrastructure, and energy
* Commercial and contract experience with Tier 1 Contractors and significant private entities
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage risk and drive value
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to influence at the executive level and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
