The Rolleston Open Cut Supply Department is seeking an experienced, motivated, and passionate individual to support our warehouse operations.
In this role, you will assist the shift Supply Officers with daily supply functions and provide ad-hoc coverage across the broader Supply Department as required.
The successful applicant will be confident in operating and escorting machinery within an open cut mining environment. Reporting to the Supply Supervisor, you will apply your strong attention to detail to ensure the safe, cost-effective, and efficient management of all warehouse activities.
Requirements of the role include:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an open cut mining warehouse;
* Proficient in SAP, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word;
* Demonstrated ability to identify and control hazards relevant to open cut mining;
* Proven ability to deliver cost-effective and efficient warehousing services;
* Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills;
* Current Forklift and Driver's Licence.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will:
* Strong time management and task prioritisation abilities;
* Extensive experience in supply and inventory management;
* Competency in open cut warehousing practices;
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment;
* High attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and strong teamwork;
* Clear communication and a safety-first mindset.
