Colac Otway Shire Council is seeking to employ a Environmental Health Officer in a permanent full time position.
As the Environmental Health Officer you will ensure that Council:
- Maintains a high standard of public health and wellbeing in accordance with legislative requirements, internal
standard operating procedures and Council policies.
- Promotes and enhances community wellbeing through education, advice and the provision of information.
- Fulfils the statutory inspections and assessment requirements in line with Council's internal Health Protection Unit
key performance indicators as set by the Councils Coordinator Environmental Health.
- Provides support and guidance as required to the Environmental Health Technical Officers in all public and
environmental health matters.
- Deliver Council's Domestic Wastewater Management Action Plan.
Salary information: $93,904.20 to $103,858.56 per annum plus superannuation.
