About the job
We're seeking casual housekeeping team members to maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment. You will complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company and collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals. You will adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards and use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with training and tools provided. You will build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
* Monday – Friday: $32.31 per hour
* Saturday: $38.78 per hour
* Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
* Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards
* Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided)
* Good physical fitness and stamina, with ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
* Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
* A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
