Nutritious Meal Provision for Early Years Children:
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering healthy meals to children in our care. Your expertise in early childhood nutrition will play a vital role in ensuring every meal supports the health and development of the children.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to school age.
* Collaborate with experts to design seasonal menus tailored to children's nutritional needs using cutting-edge platforms.
* Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are met, including allergies and cultural considerations.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment adhering to industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA-approved qualification in early childhood education.
* A current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is mandatory.
* A valid Food Safety Supervision Skill Set Certificate (HLTSS****) is required for childcare kitchens.
* Proven understanding of early childhood nutrition and dietary guidelines is essential.
* Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety standards in a kitchen environment is crucial.
