Job Title: Skilled Underground Equipment Technician
Job Description
We are seeking experienced professionals to work on underground mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of machinery
* Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Recognised Automotive Trade Certificate, heavy duty diesel fitter/mechanic trade qualification
* Current Driver's License
* Recent experience in underground heavy mining equipment maintenance
* Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills
* Current Police Clearance
* Be able to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screens
* Australian working rights
* Hands‑on experience with equipment such as CAT loaders, Volvo trucks, Sandvik twin boom jumbo's, Normet emulsion charge rigs, Volvo IT's
* Working at heights
* CPR Certificate
* Pronto experience
