About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-focused professional to join our school as a School Administrative Officer.
The successful candidate will provide administrative, financial and student welfare/wellbeing support and assistance in relation to office and classroom activities. This includes working effectively as part of a team, administering medications, and performing tasks in areas such as office procedures, accounting procedures, sick bay, hospitality, and design and technology.
* Administration skills including knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office are essential.
* Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
* The ability to meet deadlines is necessary.
* Working with teachers and students is also an important aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support: The School Administrative Officer will provide administrative support to the school community, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating events.
Financial Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's finances, including processing invoices, managing budgets, and preparing financial reports.
Student Welfare: The School Administrative Officer will work closely with teachers and students to ensure that students receive the best possible support and care.
