About The OPPORTUNITY
Join BAE Systems Australia and play a key role in shaping the future of the Osborne Shipyard site. As Regional Workplace Services Manager, you will be the custodian of the built environment, responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and future-ready facilities.
In this role, you'll lead workplace and facilities management across Osborne, overseeing strategic built environment planning, infrastructure upgrades, vendor (iFM) performance and workspace optimisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure our sites meet business needs today while planning for tomorrow.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead as the Workplace Solutions representative for Osborne Shipyard, partnering with programs to ensure alignment with operational needs
* To develop and implement a 5-year plan for the site, including building and infrastructure upgrades to support business demand
* Manage Asset Management Plans (AMPs) for the region, ensuring alignment to the Strategic Real Estate Plan (SREP) and business strategy
* To oversee the Integrated Facilities Management (iFM) contract, service delivery, and performance levels
* Ensuring built environment technical integrity, proactively managing compliance, safety, and risk to maintain operational continuity
* Delivery of minor works and facilities capital projects, ensuring lifecycle value and adherence to governance standards
* To promote flexible workplace standards that optimise property footprint and support evolving workforce needs
* To oversee workspace management and moves, ensuring efficient space allocation and utilisation
About YOU
You will bring proven experience in facilities management, property, or asset management, ideally within a large, complex organisation. You will be skilled at balancing strategic asset planning with operational delivery, and confident in leading vendor partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
You will have:
* A strong background in facilities, property, or asset management
* Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and lifecycle asset management
* Demonstrated ability to manage vendor performance and service delivery (iFM or FM contracts)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* An ability to manage risk, compliance, and safety requirements across built environments
* Strong skills in strategic planning, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement
* A background in Trades (preferred)
* Certified Qualifications in the related fields of Asset Management and Facility Management (highly regarded)
* Eligibility to hold an Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
