Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Hand (Casual)

We're a busy takeaway-focused kitchen located on a university campus, looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Porter to support our back-of-house team.
This is a casual role, ideal if you want consistent weekday work, a fast-paced environment, and the chance to learn proper kitchen systems.
What you'll be doing
* Food prep (basic prep, cutting, portioning)
* Dishwashing & keeping the kitchen clean
* Stock rotation & organisation
* Cleaning duties during and after service
* Receiving and putting away deliveries
Who this role suits
* Entry level is totally fine — attitude matters more than experience
* You're willing to learn and take instructions seriously
* You have a good work ethic and don't disappear when things get busy
* You're comfortable with repetitive tasks and staying on your feet
(Ability to speak Chinese is a bonus, but not required)
This role is not for someone who:
* Frequently calls in sick or shows up late
* Avoids cleaning or "only wants the easy jobs"
* Needs constant supervision to stay on task
Pay & perks
* $20 per hour
