Overview
Data Centre Engineer (Domain Specialist) for Federal Government projects. NV1-Cleared Data Centre Engineer (Domain Specialist) is sought to join a leading IT service organisation supporting Federal Government clients/projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the infrastructure and systems within a data center including facilities that houses IT hardware like servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.

- General DC Operation / Engineering skills
- VMWare (VCF, vCenter, NSX, VMWare vSAN)
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- DC Load balancing
- Microsoft Server
- SCCM / MECM
- NetApp
- Data Centre Storage / Backup / Archive solutions
Clearance and Credentials
- Must be an Australian citizen with an active NV1 security clearance (or higher).
Rate: Attractive daily rates OR salary packages
Location: Sydney or Canberra (Hybrid Work / in office 3–4 days per week)
Engagement: initial 12-month contracts with likely extensions
