About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and contribute to the creation of innovative menus that reflect the Northern Territory's unique food culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in accordance with Dock One Bar's standards
* Support the Head Chef in maintaining consistent food quality
* Maintain kitchen standards, food safety, and hygiene
* Contribute to menu development reflecting the Northern Territory's unique food culture
* Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and consistency
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure ongoing skills development
* Manage stock, assist with ordering supplies, and monitor inventory use

Qualifications & Skills (Kitchen)
* AQF Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
* Leadership experience and a passion for mentoring junior staff
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of stock control, food safety, and kitchen administration
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Cook Roles (Kitchen)
* Full-time | Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per annum
* Role: Preparing and cooking a variety of meals, supporting daily kitchen operations and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Key Duties & Responsibilities (Cook)
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals across all kitchen sections
* Portion, garnish and present dishes with consistency
* Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
* Store and label ingredients correctly, ensuring temperature and hygiene control is maintained
* Assist with stock control, preparation lists, and service flow
* Maintain kitchen workspaces, tools, and cooking equipment
* Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Skills (Cook)
* AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a busy pub, bistro, or restaurant
* Food Safety Certificate - strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

Waiter Supervisor
Full-time | Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per annum
About the Role
Coordinate front-of-house operations, manage reservations and floor service, and support the venue manager in maintaining smooth daily service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate waitstaff during service hours to ensure efficient and professional food and beverage service
* Train and mentor new front-of-house staff in service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer engagement
* Greet and seat guests, and assist with complex or large orders as needed
* Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving service issues promptly and courteously

Full – time | Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per annum
About the Role
You will work with the Front of House team to deliver friendly, efficient service to all guests. You will help keep the dining area running smoothly and maintain high stands throughout.
Key Duties & Responsibilities (Waiter)
* Deliver friendly, efficient table service to guests
* Take orders, serve food and beverages, and attend to guest needs
* Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene, and customer care
* Reset tables, maintaining a clean and well-presented venue
* Take payments, including using POS machine and cash registers
* Perform incidental duties such as basic cleaning, stock display, and supporting bar staff and supervisors as required
* Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure a positive guest experience
Key Skills & Experience (Waiter)
* At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing hospitality role
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of basic food beverage service procedures
