The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Structural Steel Boilermaker to join a well‐established workshop in Cairns, supporting projects across FMCG, construction, and industrial sectors. This is a hands‐on role working with a tight‐knit team on a variety of fabrication projects—no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing
* Fabrication and welding of structural steel components
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Working on projects across FMCG facilities, construction builds, and industrial upgrades
* MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly
* Ensuring high‐quality workmanship and safety standards

What We're Looking For
* Trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator
* Strong experience in structural steel fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Experience with MIG welding (TIG a bonus)
* Reliable, team‐focused attitude
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
* Forklift or EWP ticket
* Experience in FMCG or industrial environments
