The Role
We are looking for an experienced Laundry Assistant to join our St. Paul's team:
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of laundry equipment, washing instructions and cleaning methods
* Demonstrate awareness of legislative requirements relevant to the position including Occupational Health & Safety
* Be responsive to the needs of residents by tailoring services to meet individual needs
* Ensure efficient use of laundry materials and resources; maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Can be available any day of the week
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Previous experience working with older people in a comparable setting (desirable)
* Demonstrated positive, courteous and client‐focused behaviour
* Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
* Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
