Overview
The role of Social Support Group Bus Driver is to transport clients from their homes to our leisure centre or arranged group outings within the community. You will help ensure clients feel welcome and enjoy themselves while travelling safely and respectfully.
Responsibilities
* Drive safely and lawfully, demonstrating care for clients, other road users and property
* Ensure all occupants travelling on the vehicles are wearing a safety belt at all times
* Ensure vehicle checklists are completed before commencing a journey
* Ensure any items taken onto a vehicle are stowed safely
* Be a positive advocate for People Who Care
* Make your Coordinator aware of any complaints or concerns conveyed by clients and help the service respond respectfully
* Help create a friendly and helpful environment that clients enjoy
* Help everyone to feel welcome and valued
