About the role: Relief Teacher.

We are seeking dedicated and dynamic educators to join our Relief Teacher - Expression of Interest Pool.
As a relief teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting our college by filling in for regular teachers during their absence. These positions offer a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in diverse learning environments across different grade levels (Kindy - Year 12).
Position Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
* Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
* Previous teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to various teaching styles and year levels.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
* To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
* To accept the College's Statement of Faith.
* Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
* Work to ensure personal best practice.
* Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
* Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
* Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
* Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
* First Aid certificate is desirable.
* Working With Children Card.
Essential Information about this position
* This position is part of our Relief Pool, which means that applications will be stored for a period of six months. To remain in the Relief Pool beyond this period, applicants must reconfirm their interest with the HR Team.
* Inclusion in the Relief Teacher – Expression of Interest Pool does not guarantee placement; however, applicants will be considered as relief teaching opportunities arise.
* Relief teaching positions may vary in duration and frequency depending on the needs of the college.
* Suitable candidates will be notified when relief teaching opportunities arise and will have the option to accept or decline interviews/positions based on their availability.
