This is a Permanent Full-Time appointment.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated
Nurse Unit Manager
to lead our
Emergency Department
team. This is your opportunity to step into a leadership position where your clinical expertise, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence will truly make a difference.

The successful applicant shall be responsible for leading and managing the ED nursing team, to deliver evidence-based care to achieve optimal patient outcomes within allocated resources. The NUM has direct responsibility for improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions, and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational goals. As a key leader in the multidisciplinary team the NUM ensures that the Unit meets the requirements for the delivery of a patient centred service against the Key Performance Indicators of quality, budget and human resources. The position provides a consultation and liaison service within their area of expertise to relevant internal and external customers.

Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.

Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
