SACS 2 - Casual
$34.60 per hour (plus casual loading)
The Parkside Foundation Aged Care Team is expanding and seeks reliable and compassionate Support Workers with a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) who want to make a positive difference in the lives of older people.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 6 months' experience working with older people, and a commitment to helping them "to live a full life with purpose".
We would love to hear from you if you are able to demonstrate:
· Ability to communicate effectively (in person and in writing) with clients, their family,
and colleagues
· An understanding of the role of the client's Support Plan in the provision of services
· An understanding of common health and wellbeing needs of older people
· The ability to identify and manage risks to others and to oneself
· The ability to manage time and tasks to be prompt, responsive and reliable.
Parkside offers a friendly team-based working workplace with mentoring and in-service training. Our employees are covered by the Parkside Foundation Enterprise Agreement 2023.
Applicants are also required to have NDIS endorsed Working with Vulnerable People card, current First Aid and CPR, current Tasmanian driver's licence and a comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
