We are looking for a results‐focussed high calibre International Recruitment and Conversion Coordinator with experience in generating and converting enrolments of international students through education agents focusing on South‐East Asia and the China Region.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior International Recruitment Manager in the preparation and implementation of the student recruitment initiatives for the Victoria University Brisbane to achieve the onshore student recruitment targets for the South East Asia and Greater China region.
* Represent the VU Brisbane in responsible countries at international events, recruitment exhibitions, school/university visits, student interviews and other forums to promote leads generation and conversion. This may require significant amounts of international travel.
* Conduct regular conversion activities as directed by the Recruitment Team.
* Maintain and provide regular/monthly reports on conversion and enrolment numbers.
* Relationship management – build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of agents and internal student acquisition functions including but not limited to agent representatives, schools, universities. Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge on market specific changes, admissions requirements and course information across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
* Manage the overall acquisition cost and investment in sales and marketing activities and measure ROI.
* Support the execution of agent incentives and promotional activities to enhance student recruitment efforts and achieve working alongside digital marketing for student nurturing campaigns to achieve recruitment targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
* Appropriate qualification or experience at Bachelor Level suitable to relevant sales experience and/or education/training.
Experience / Skills
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working as an International Recruitment Manager/Sales, and/or demonstrated knowledge of the Higher Education sectors and student recruitment landscape, particularly of Southeast Asia and/or Greater China region.
* Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
* Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process.
* A working knowledge of the regulatory environment specific to international education.
* Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'.
* A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
* Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.
* Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* A positive attitude to dealing with people.
* Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual.
* Fluent in a second language; preferably Mandarin.
