About the Role
This role requires an experienced, goal‐achieving team leader with flexibility to work across Northern Health campuses. The role is responsible for ensuring that all CSSD staff possess the knowledge and skills needed to reprocess reusable medical devices.
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services (HLT47015)
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122)
* Minimum 4 years (full‐time equivalent) experience as Grade 5 Instrument Technician in reprocessing reusable medical devices, with good working knowledge of AS5369:2023 & NSQHS Standard
* Previous experience as an Educator or Instructor in CSSD and/or Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
* Demonstrated knowledge in reprocessing endoscopes and loan sets
* Well‐developed organisational, problem‐solving and communication skills
