Job Description:

The Facilities Operations team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure operational continuity, safety, and efficiency. The Head of Facilities oversees the team, which includes running routine safety inspections, partnering with contractors, planning maintenance work, and maintaining records.
As a Facilities Manager, you will oversee the entirety of the building both interior and exterior. Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing experience is necessary. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, organize effectively, and communicate verbally and in writing.
* Manage day-to-day operations in industrial spaces consisting of production, manufacturing, and test support.
* Scope MEP work as the space evolves and changes.
* Project manage capital improvement projects from pre-construction to customer handover.
* Collaborate with equipment owners on future equipment moves and planning.
* Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure sites are safe and compliant.
* Maintain fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, water tanks, and general utility repairs.
* Help set the culture of the company by working with senior leadership to create a customer-focused working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or other types of manufacturing facilities.
* Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience.
* Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
* Knowledgeable and experienced in managing EHS in a facility.
* Experienced with operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial man lifts, and overhead gantry cranes and hoists.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
* Strong attention to detail and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance.
