About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team. The successful candidate will assist project managers, designers and estimators in delivering results for a diverse client base.
The role involves supporting teams in construction and design project management, construction delivery, administration and project documentation, bids, tendering and estimation, electrical design and NBN design.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting project managers in construction and design projects
* Delivering construction projects from concept to completion
* Preparing and maintaining project documents
* Assisting with bid development and tender processes
* Designing electrical systems
* Developing NBN designs
About You:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering is required
* You must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and willingness to learn
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of computer literacy including Excel
* Team player
* Attention to detail
* Own transport
* Motivated individual
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in electrical design or construction management
* Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) software
Work Environment
This role involves working as part of a dynamic team to deliver infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
The successful candidate will be based at our Hendra office location and will be required to travel to project sites as necessary.
