Child Wellbeing Specialist
This role plays a pivotal part in creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
* Screening, triage, assessment, crisis response, service planning and targeted interventions;
* Service allocation and referral coordination;
* Collaboration with the Hub team to support integrated risk assessment and planning, including participating in case conferences and meetings.
Develop analysis, assessment and referral skills.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Requires sound experience in child wellbeing, risk management and working with clients with complex needs.
* Working through an intersectional lens is essential.
* The ability to work with children and families where there are complex needs and risk issues.
* Resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma.
* Identifying, assessing and prioritising client risks and needs in a whole-family approach.
* Recognising and identifying own expertise limits and seeking advice or referring clients to specialists.
* Assessment skills, Best Interests Case Practice Model and MARAM knowledge are highly valued.
