An excellent opportunity has become available for an outstanding Accounts Payable Officer to support the Group Finance Team. This role has a strong focus on effective processing and robust finance functions using the inhouse finance systems.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Provide high level support to the Group Finance Manager and other team members
- Process invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and expense reports against supporting documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers
- Monitor and manage payment schedules to ensure timely payments
- Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
- Efficient and effective implementation of the Group's Financial Management Plans and Procedures.
- On time completion of all financial and administrative tasks to meet weekly and monthly deadlines for financial and banking activities.
- Compliance with all relevant financial legislation.
- Compliance with all Tradies Group work practices and safety standards

- High level attention to detail with the ability to manipulate and analyse volumes of data.

- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong literacy in the Microsoft Suite, along with relevant data and financial management systems
- Willing to work as part of a team and interact with all levels within the business.
