Overview
We are looking for a motivated Edit Assistant to support our editors and post-production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop strong technical and editorial skills while working on exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and organisation of edit systems, including file structures, naming conventions, and media management.
- Sync sound and picture, log footage, and create stringouts and basic selects timelines.
- Support the consolidation and delivery of assets for post-production finishing.
- Maintain tidy and consistent project files and media archives.
- Provide day-to-day support to editors and the Senior Edit Assistant.
Qualifications
- 1 year of industry experience in post-production (internships or entry-level roles welcome).
- Basic understanding of file formats, codecs, and editorial assets.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar NLEs).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and develop technical skills.
