Tasks and Qualifications
The Opportunity
Due to a growing number of projects, Dematic is expanding our Belrose team.
We are offering an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a motivated and experienced roll former, machine setter, or production worker to join us as a Roll Forming Setter/Operator at our Belrose factory, located on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Gain more exposure to a large company that is manufacturing warehouse racking solutions, in addition our factory also assembles automated systems such as AGV (robotic forklifts) and conveyors.
We welcome applicants for either permanent position.
You may choose to work a Day Shift or an Afternoon Shift.
Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Friday).
Afternoon Shift: 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Monday–Thursday) and 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Friday).
What You Will Be Working On
The main focus: to operate our roll forming machines to fulfill project orders and ensure machines are set accordingly in order to manufacture the product to project requirements.
Work safely and adhere to our policies and procedures.
You will learn the art of roll forming from highly experienced and friendly team members.
You will help with daily support and maintenance of the machines.
Review and complete paperwork for job tasks to meet production requirements.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
Work collaboratively with the other team members in the manufacturing process.
What We Are Looking For
Manufacturing experience operating machines.
Experience in roll forming equipment and machine setting (highly desired).
Good mechanical aptitude and general understanding of machine maintenance.
Welding and electrical assembly skill (highly desirable).
Fit and able to perform physical tasks if required.
Complete work instructions paperwork.
Good communication skills, reading and writing.
Good understanding of OH&S requirements and safety procedures.
Contribute to our high safety culture and looking for ways to improve quality and environmental impact.
Strong team player that is dedicated and supportive.
