With a significant portion of assets managed internally, the business has built a sophisticated investment capability spanning listed and unlisted markets, including private equity, infrastructure, credit and real assets. As part of this, a newly created division has been established to bring greater alignment across investment finance, reporting, and valuation governance. About the Role You will lead a small, high-calibre team and be responsible for end-to-end oversight of investment accounting, valuation processes, financial reporting and control across a diverse portfolio. This includes listed assets as well as more complex exposures such as private markets, infrastructure and alternative investments. Beyond BAU delivery, a key focus of the role is transformation. You will play a central role in uplifting systems, improving data integrity, strengthening controls, and driving automation across reporting processes. The environment is dynamic and evolving. Key areas of focus include: Oversight of investment accounting and financial reporting processes Review and challenge of valuations, NAVs and complex accounting treatments Strengthening of control frameworks and governance processes Ownership of regulatory reporting inputs and compliance requirements Leading audit engagements and managing external service providers Driving system, data and process transformation initiatives Coaching and developing a high-performing team This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how the function evolves. About You You are a technically strong and commercially minded finance leader with experience across investment reporting, fund accounting or investment operations within a complex financial services environment. You bring a balance of hands-on capability and strategic thinking, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while building structure and improving processes.
