We're looking for a diesel truck mechanic to work for an automotive repair service company in Melbourne, Victoria. The primary duties of the role include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analysing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.
About the role:
Must have automotive trade qualifications degree or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering. Apprenticeship plus 3-5 years of post-apprenticeship work experience is preferred. Have extensive knowledge of trucks and fleets. Experience with Volvo, MAN, Benz, and Isuzu (not required but desirable). Repair and maintenance skills (including hydraulic repairs and basic welding
