Job Overview
This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical assets at various sites across the Eyre Peninsula, including major pumping stations and water/wastewater treatment plants. Travel is required to conduct maintenance, repairs, commissioning, modifications and installs on new and old infrastructure.
* Maintenance and repair of electrical assets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Response to breakdowns, fault finding and repair to return assets to service as soon as possible.
* Delivery of new capital projects, including switchboard builds and installations.
This is a full-time role operating 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with a rostered on-call component with associated overtime.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, adaptability and the ability to work in varied environments, including remote locations, flexible hours and on-call duties.
Key Requirements
* A current electrical trade certificate and license.
* A current valid driver's license.
* Relevant experience working with electrical assets in a technical field maintenance environment (desirable).
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* A can-do attitude who is eager to jump in and get the job done.
* A willingness to learn.
* Participation in an on-call roster.
