Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP consultant with strong expertise in Employee Central (EC) processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing, configuring and supporting EC modules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, configure, and support SAP SuccessFactors EC modules.
* Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with legislation, superannuation, taxation, and reporting requirements.
* Configure and maintain payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and integration with SAP HCM / EC.
* Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional specifications.
* Support time management, leave accruals, rostering, and award interpretation for Australian public/private sector.
* Collaborate with technical teams for system integration (EC–Payroll, EC–Time, EC–ERP).
* Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing), regression testing, and payroll simulations.
* Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for payroll and EC-related queries.
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work, ATO (Australian Taxation Office), Single Touch Payroll (STP), and other statutory reporting.
* Prepare documentation, training materials, and conduct end-user training.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 7+ years of experience in SAP HCM / SuccessFactors, with focus on Employee Central.
* Strong knowledge of Australian Payroll processes, including taxation, superannuation, awards, enterprise agreements, and compliance.
* Experience in SuccessFactors EC–Payroll integration.
* Hands-on experience with schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll control center.
* Exposure to time evaluation, rostering, leave accruals.
* Strong functional knowledge of PA, OM, Time, and Payroll modules.
* Experience with Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and ATO compliance.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
* SAP Certification in SuccessFactors EC is highly desirable.
