About the Role
PPS is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be one of the most senior roles on site. Having a thorough knowledge of construction management principles and applying them effectively to ensure project goals are met, while also mentoring and supporting your team, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, such as trades, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure project goals are met.
- Follow all HSEQ requirements while taking pride in your work and operating with integrity and efficiency
- Support and mentor all site-based staff and field Supervisors as needed
- Monitor and reporting on project milestones and variations
- Managing logistics of remote area ensuring productive material and personnel
- Maintaining registers and ensuring all construction activities comply with regulatory guidelines
About You
- Experience as a Construction Manager in a FIFO or remote working environment
- Experience in a civil construction and/or SMP environment
- Knowledge of pipework, SMP, and civil earthworks (desirable)
- Understanding of productivity and cost control tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling tools
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
