Infrastructure Security Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and securing our organization's core infrastructure services.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer, including 3 years in a senior or architectural role. You will be experienced with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and Azure Active Directory.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecting, designing, and implementing secure infrastructure services
Driving improvements across identity and access, network architecture, and system configurations
Leading the technical delivery of infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, integration)
Acting as a senior escalation point and SME across Windows Server, networking, backup/DR, and authentication
Contributing to the documentation, life cycle management, and disaster recovery planning
Supporting the adoption of zero-trust principles and secure connectivity across sites and platforms
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer, including 3 years in a senior or architectural role
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and Azure Active Directory
Strong understanding of authentication protocols
Experience with secure network environments, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, routing, and switching
Good knowledge of disaster recovery, backup processes, and ensuring systems stay online across on-prem and cloud environments
Familiarity with security frameworks such as the Essential Eight or CIS Benchmarks
