Verification and Validation Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our autonomous solutions. This position requires a collaborative individual who can work across multiple teams to foster a cohesive validation and verification plan.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop comprehensive validation and verification plans for site system features requiring interconnection between multiple products.
* Contribute to regulatory compliance and robustness test strategies across product V&V teams.
* Incorporate functional safety testing requirements into the overall autonomous site system V&V strategy.
* Ensure customer statement of work requirements are met through effective V&V strategies and specific plans.
* Maintain accurate documentation of verification and validation procedures, policies, test cases, and reports.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment needs for validation/testing.
* Collaborate with development, deployment, and customer project teams on project deliverables at various levels.
* Partner with key stakeholders internally and externally on project timelines, variations, and deliverables.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent discipline.
* Certification such as ISTQB, PMP, or INCOSE.
* Experience in product Verification & Validation based activities for mining or resource-based technology applications.
* Proficiency in writing test plans.
* Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
* Proven experience in validating hardware and software components within complex integrated systems.
* Direct experience with V&V activities for autonomous site systems and autonomous vehicles.


Essential Qualities:

* Creative and open-minded individual who encourages idea sharing.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to conduct validation studies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building cohesive relations across a multi-level stakeholder group.
* Experience in a project environment from conception to full deployment.
* Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
