**North Region - Location Negotiable**

**$103,133.55 package includes salary ($91,272 - $98,291), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**About the role**

The Team Leader of the Aboriginal Engagement Team at TAFE NSW plays a vital role in supporting students and Aboriginal Student Support Officers within the North Region, while building effective stakeholder relationships. You will also support our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in achieving positive outcomes of success.

This will be a rewarding opportunity where you can join our Aboriginal Engagement Team in a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of students and your communities

**About You**

You will have strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in leading a dynamic Aboriginal team across a large geographical footprint, as well as, building relationships with students and other stakeholders. Bringing your experience and influencing skills you will share your knowledge, consult and collaborate on cultural appropriate strategies. Being resilient and flexible you are comfortable with constructively managing conflict, mediating and you manage issues with sensitivity and confidentiality. You have demonstrated ability in using Office 365 and a strong background in administration (highly desirable within the education sector).

Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

**DESIRABLE REQUIREMENT**
- Driver license.
