Senior Product Designer – Qoria

Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to design, deliver and improve user experiences that help schools and families keep children safe online. In this role you will own work end to end from research to shipped UI and support the growth of other designers.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver solutions that create clear value for schools, safeguarding teams and the wider business.
* Own and improve the quality, clarity and consistency of interfaces and user experiences across our products.
* Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the design team and product organization.
* Shape and strengthen the direction of our design system through new components, patterns and standards.
* Take end‑to‑end ownership of initiatives in collaboration with Product and Engineering, from early thinking to shipped release.
* Demonstrate curiosity and openness to using AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, design exploration and workflow efficiency.
Accountabilities
* Apply a hypothesis‑driven design approach, defining assumptions, expected outcomes and how success will be measured before committing to solutions.
* Create clear user story flows that communicate user needs, business goals and technical considerations for new and existing features.
* Design, maintain and evolve our design system, including creating new components, improving existing patterns and ensuring consistency across products.
* Use a wide range of design artefacts including whiteboard sketches, screen flows, diagrams, wireframes and prototypes to explore ideas, test assumptions early and give Product and Engineering clear, feasible direction for delivery.
* Continuously raise the quality bar by assessing existing experiences, advocating for better solutions and providing well‑considered recommendations that improve UX across the product.
* Support the timely delivery of software into production by being responsive, pragmatic and solution‑focused.
* Drive high design standards by modelling quality work, giving constructive feedback and ensuring our outputs are consistent, accessible and aligned to our product principles.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Design or a related field (optional).
* Diploma/Certificate in Design or a related field (optional).
* Minimum of 5 years recent experience in a similar role across UX, using Figma, Sketch and Adobe.
* Experience with wireframing and design systems.
* Exceptional presentation skills.
* Strong experience managing stakeholder expectations and balancing with the needs of the customer.
* Demonstrated experience conducting user research using surveys, interviews, user testing and presenting research findings.
