An opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Regional Parts Team in Brisbane has become available. Your relevant trade qualification and heavy vehicle technical skills will be an essential part of your success in this role, along with your communication skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Mining experience would be advantageous; however, it will be your attention to detail, ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, and customer service focus that will be essential in achieving positive outcomes and meeting targets.
Reporting to the Inventory & Planning Manager – North East Region, your role will focus on providing parts and/or component maintenance planning for equipment owned by allocated Mining customers in Queensland. This role is based in the Komatsu office at Wacol and is Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide parts and/or component maintenance planning for equipment owned by allocated Mining customers in Queensland.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate planning and delivery.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure alignment with customer requirements and site conditions.
- Maintain accurate records in relevant systems and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Report to the Inventory & Planning Manager – North East Region as required.
What you will bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service support and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Experience using MS Excel at a basic to intermediate level.
- Knowledge of Komatsu’s range of equipment.
- Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems), AMT type preferred.
- Intermediate computer systems skills with Microsoft suite and Dynamics.
- Mining equipment and/or site experience.
