A growing technology business operating within the PC hardware and gaming technology sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to drive growth across B2B corporate and channel/retail markets. This is a senior, commercially focused role offering high levels of autonomy and the opportunity to shape sales strategy and long‐term business development outcomes.

Based around South‐East Melbourne, this full‐time position suits a proven sales professional with strong industry relationships, commercial acumen, and a track record of delivering results in PC hardware, channel and corporate reseller sales technology markets.

The business works closely with vendors and distributors to deliver competitive product offerings and value‐driven solutions across a broad customer base.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across B2B corporate and channel markets. You will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and manage high‐value customer relationships. Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to shaping sales processes, refining go‐to‐market approaches, and supporting the long‐term growth of the business development function. You will also collaborate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to maximise commercial outcomes, support product ranging decisions, and represent the business at industry events.

* 3+ years' experience in technology, IT, PC hardware, or related sales environments
* Proven success selling into B2B corporate and/or channel/retail markets
* Established industry relationships that can be leveraged for growth
* Experience selling technology products such as PC components, systems, peripherals, or corporate IT solutions
* Ability to manage complex deals and longer sales cycles
* High‐level communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
* Experience using CRM systems
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience working closely with vendors and distributors
* Exposure to e‐commerce or high‐volume product environments
* Experience supporting or mentoring junior sales staff
* Strong understanding of technology market trends and product lifecycles
