We're seeking an Experienced Full-Time Head Nurse to lead our nursing team and support our busy veterinarians. You'll play a key role in shaping clinic culture, fostering team growth, and ensuring our clinical standards remain exceptional.
In this full‐time role, you will:
* Lead, coach and mentor our Vet Nurse team
* Build and maintain a positive, cohesive and motivated team culture
* Manage daily workflow and support a high‐functioning clinical team
* Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post‐operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
* Take initiative to enhance clinic efficiency and operations
* Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to maintain gold‐standard patient care
* Handle client enquiries professionally in person, over email and over the phone
What we're looking for:
* Cert IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years clinical experience
* Experienced in coaching, mentoring and developing nursing teams
* A strong, supportive leader who motivates others
* Calm, friendly and confident in a busy clinical environment
* Excellent in communication and customer service
* Flexible, adaptable and collaborative
* Organised, proactive and committed to high standards
* Familiar with RxWorks (desirable but not essential)
