About the role
This is a rare opportunity for a driven and highly motivated individual to join our Aviation Maintenance team in Albury, NSW.
This role offers a 4-year hands-on apprenticeship leading to a Diploma of Aeroskills – Mechanical, in a high-demand occupation, mentored by some of the best in the industry. You'll be involved in scheduled servicing of engines and engine systems, airframe systems and landing gear systems, defect rectification, assisting with avionics repairs and maintenance, structural repairs and modifications and general upkeep of plant and equipment, store duties, and more.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A valid driver's licence or own reliable transportation and the ability to obtain a drivers licence within 6 months of successful employment
* A proven academic record.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* A genuine interest in practical activities and a high level of motivation
* Basic understanding of mechanical principles highly desirable.
* An outstanding work ethic and self-motivation.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Successful completion of Year 12 secondary education highly desirable or a completion of year 10 with the view to being employed in a trade.
