Full time Position. About the Role We require a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our service centre based in Wangara.
Assisting Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant.
Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
Determining tool selection and equipment for allocated job project.
Performing and/or directing mechanical equipment reporting and testing.
Collecting, analysing, and reporting data, conducting complex calculations and interpretation of diagrams.
Inspections and maintenance of machines and plant equipment.
Ensure finished works are within specifications, regulations, and contract stipulations.
Establishing standards according to mechanical and engineering principles and safety regulations.
Assemble new or overhauled equipment as per specifications.
Participate and contribute to daily toolbox meetings, Safety toolbox and other meetings.
Contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives and towards the achievement of company's operational objectives.
