Physiotherapist Position: Aged Care (Full-Time)
We are seeking a dedicated physiotherapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
* This physiotherapist will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions in aged-care settings, focusing on maintaining and improving mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification and current General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* At least 2 years' experience in aged care or allied health settings
* New graduates welcome to apply, with enthusiasm and passion for working in aged care
* Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and genuine interest in elderly wellbeing
* Ability to work Monday to Friday, upholding high standards of therapy service delivery

About the Role:
* This role involves assessing, planning and implementing physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care settings
* Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
* Monitoring client progress and adapting interventions accordingly
* Promoting best-practice aged-care therapy and supporting accreditation requirements
