Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting for a Sales Support Specialist to join our client's busy team, located in Southport. Our client is an Australian owned and operated telecommunications provider with unrivalled experience and expertise in rural, remote and regional communications.

The Role:
Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, we are looking for a Sales Support Specialist that will be the face of our clients Shop front assisting customers, as well as be responsible for responding to online and website enquiries. This role will see you be an SME on our client's range of services and product, maximising the sales opportunities of the business.

This role will see you working Monday - Friday, (no weekends) with flexibility to work 8.30am - 5.00pm or 9.00am - 5.30pm, noting that this role is an office-based role only

You will be part of a team of 2 that prides itself on working together to get the job done providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise on product and service solutions to customers both face to face (in shop) and online
- Covert sales leads to maximise all opportunities, working closely with the Business Development team
- Action sales enquiries in a timely manner, including quoting and processing of orders & connections, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Liaise with the Logistics team on fulfilment and shipping, whilst keeping customers informed of order status.
- Create accounts and co-ordinate new connections for customers.
- Co-ordinate product training for Customer with Product Specialist as required
- Identify product and knowledge gaps within the support team and work with the Customer Care Manager to rectify
- Compile monthly sales report as well as other ad hoc reports as required by the Management Team
- Provide general admin support to the Channel Management team
- Carry out any ad hoc duties as required by the Customer Care Manager

Required Skills & Experience:

- Demonstrated experience in a Tier 2 Customer Service, Sales Support, Face to Face Sales role or similar
- Experience within the Telecommunications industry - Mobile, NBN, Broadband, Computers highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a MUST, with experience in responding to online sales enquiries with proven conversion rates
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge - Word, Excel and Outlook as well as CRM knowledge
- Ability to learn new technical information and system knowledge
- Strong admin and reporting skills required
- Excellent customer service and sales skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
- Time management and organisational skills a must
- Positive and can-do attitude to take on any duty and to be an excellent team player where you become a trusted member of the team
