About the Role
* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide home help services to our aged care clients.
The ideal candidate will have 3 months or more experience in a similar role, be comfortable working independently and enjoy having variety in their day. You will also need an open Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide general housekeeping and personal care services such as washing, folding, ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping for our clients with varying needs.
2. Assist clients with mobility issues by providing support during daily activities like getting out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
3. Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments while maintaining social interaction skills through conversation about daily news events.
