What You'll Be Learning and Doing:Inventory Accuracy: Collect and analyse parts data to maintain accurate records and improve organisation for efficient production.Problem-Solving: Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and contribute to solutions with team support.Systems Expertise: Learn and use inventory management software (e.g., JDE/SAP) to ensure data integrity.Continuous Improvement: Share observations and ideas to enhance inventory processes and efficiency.Production Support: Ensure timely part availability for the production team and resolve part-related issues.What You'll Be Responsible For:Participating in and eventually managing regular part counts to maintain accurate records.Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, contributing to preventative strategies.Maintaining the accuracy of information within our computer system.Handling and documenting inventory adjustments, collaborating with the accounting team under guidance.Contributing to the creation of reports that aid production planning and identify potential problems.Learning to respond efficiently to inventory-related questions and issues.Contributing ideas for and assisting in the implementation of improvements to our inventory control processes.Collaborating with the team on regular inventory counts.Managing and accurately recording inventory changes.Ensuring the correctness of key data within our computer system.Assisting in addressing and resolving inventory-related queries.Contributing to the creation of daily production and inventory reports.Actively participating in initiatives to enhance our inventory control processes.If you're an organised and motivated individual with experience who enjoys problem-solving or a graduate who is eager to learn the intricacies of inventory management within a manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply!
