When complete, the Melbourne Arts Precinct will shine a light on Australia's incredible creative talent and serve a global cultural tourist drawcard.

The Role
Offered as 2 x 10 month fixed term opportunites.
Working closely with the Head of People & Performance the HR Business Partner is integral in facilitating, coordinating and implementing the People & Performance function across the exciting new Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation.
As HR Business Partner you will effectively partner with, coach and support executive teams, people managers and all employees to positively impact the culture at MAP Co, lead the recruitment process and ensure the attraction, development and retention of the best talent available.
Accountabilities
- Partner with the Head of People & Performance to develop and implement the People & Performance (P&P) strategy, contributing to P&P projects and initiatives that support MAP Co's strategic objectives.
- Manage end to end recruitment, maintain partnerships with external recruitment vendors and develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies and campaigns to generate awareness of MAP Co, the Fed Square brand and the development of the Employee Value Proposition Project (EVP).
- Establish and maintain partnerships with people leaders to provide support throughout employee life cycle, including recruitment, induction, on-boarding, performance and talent management processes, learning and development and strategic workforce planning.
- Oversee and maintain optimal functionality of the IT systems that support the P&P workflow.
- Champion and instil commercial decision-making using accurate employee and performance data and drive compliance conformity, developing and coaching internal stakeholders through analytics and reports.
- Proactively contribute and support the design and delivery of best practice HR policy, processes, and procedures and keep abreast of current employment best practice and legislation.
- In consultation with the HPP, provide advice and guidance to people leaders on all workplace relations matters, including policy, industrial instruments, employment laws/regulations and case management support.
- Challenge the status quo and propose changes to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Your Experience
- Demonstrable generalist HR experience of supporting people leaders and their teams, providing the best advice and solutions in a commercial environment.
- Experience of implementing organisational development, L&D, employee engagement and recognition initiatives
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively influence and negotiate.
- Demonstrable experience of managing recruitment processes end to end, including design and execution of talent acquisition programs.
- Proven experience of managing Employee Relations matters including but not limited to performance management, mediations, and bullying and harassment and competent knowledge of Modern Awards & HR best practice.
- Strong experience and knowledge in human resource management and in researching best practice, comparing industry organisational development trends and providing appropriate recommendations to fit the business.
- Demonstrated ability in analytical and problem solving including the ability to successfully handle multiple, complex, and high priority tasks concurrently.
- Commercially minded with experience of working with HR data and building on key reporting and analytic capability.
- Experience of working with, customising and implementing HR systems.
