Maintenance Controller Role Overview
SG Fleet AU seeks a skilled Maintenance Controller to oversee approvals for maintenance and repairs of passenger and commercial vehicles nationally.
The role entails accurate invoicing, managing maintenance costs, and resolving day-to-day queries within agreed timeframes. A key focus is on ensuring all services meet manufacturers' service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Approve suppliers' requests for maintenance and repair work on managed vehicles and equipment.
* Ensure all services are within manufacturers service requirements.
* Oversee defective vehicle and equipment repairs to comply with CoR and Health & Safety processes.
* Collaborate with external suppliers to enhance their EVO portal usage.
* Provide assistance to customers with general maintenance enquiries.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Diesel or Passenger Vehicle Mechanic.
* Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills, along with good listening and probing abilities.
* Analytical thinker capable of solving problems resourcefully, perseveringly, and accountably.
