What you'll contribute to
The Quality and Service Division is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of customer first activities including customer support, service operation foundations and training, in-field product performance and support, warranty, quality planning and engineering in order to retain customers for life through optimised experiences, services and products to grow the market, contribute to profitability objectives and strengthen the Toyota brand.
The Senior Quality and Service Improvement Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating the management and improvement of TQS Advanced initiatives and tools in order to ensure that the programs and tools continue to meet TMCA and Dealer network expectations. The role is also responsible for developing new initiatives and tools to further improve dealer business efficiency and to ensure that the desired service business outcomes continue to be delivered by the Dealer network.
This role is based in Altona and is on a permanent basis.
How you'll make an impact
* Lead the implementation and improvement of quality and service systems, ensuring alignment with Toyota's operational standards and objectives.
* Act as a key liaison between Quality, Service, regional teams, and the Dealer network to support program integration, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
* Provide expert guidance to managers on quality standards, driving consistent continuous improvement (Kaizen) practices and dealer capability uplift.
* Analyse performance data, recommend countermeasures, and support achievement of service and business development goals.
* Coordinate stakeholder forums and maintain open communication on program progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
* Support supplier selection and management to ensure quality service delivery at the best cost, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Your attributes - If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you
* A degree in business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 5+ years of experience, ideally in a complex, fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
* Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and Dealer Network operations.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to manage projects from concept through to delivery.
